Needl.ai - Box integration allows you to sync all your Box folder’s data into Needl.ai. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Link your Box Account

•

Navigate to the Connected Sources section on the left side of the app, and click on Add.

•

Click on the connect CTA on the Box source.

•

A pop-up will open. Make sure you have read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before agreeing to them. Click on Get Started.

•

You will be asked to authenticate with your Box account (In case you are already signed in, your signed-in account will get linked).

Follow this for authenticating box integration

•

You will see all your Box folders listed. Choose the ones you would like to sync from the list.

Select folder in which you want to sync.

•

You will see a success message once the integration is complete. Box data from the linked account will start reflecting on Needl.ai .

2. Modify your integration

•

On the Connected Apps page, hover over the Box icon again. Click on Options.

•

Click on Manage . You will see a list of all your Box folders.

Select/ deselect the ones you would like to sync into Needl.ai. Click on sync.

Folder’s data from the selected folders will start reflecting in your Needl.ai account within 4 hours.

•

On the Connected Apps page, hover over the Box icon again. Click on Options.

•

You can choose to Add new account or Delink the current integration from here.

•

To add a new account, click on Add new account and follow the steps again. To Delink the existing account, click on Delink .

FAQ

How long does it take to stream data into Needl.ai?

To stream Box data into Needl.ai, it usually takes around 45 mins to 1 hour.

Will I be able to import my previous files from my Box Folders into Needl.ai?

Yes, all files in your linked to the selected Box folder will get synced into Needl.ai.

What happens if I delete my data on Box files that have already been streamed to Needl.ai?

Needl.ai only offers a one-way data stream. This means that data streamed into Needl.ai from another app or source will stay independent of the source, i.e., deleting files on Box after they have been streamed to Needl.ai will not affect your data on Needl.ai.

Does deleting data from Needl.ai also delete them from Box?

No, making changes to your data on Needl.ai will not have any effect on your original data source.

Can I edit my files on Needl.ai?

Needl.ai currently offers read-and-search only functionality. This means that you can stream and search data from Box on Needl.ai but you will not be able to edit any data. However, you can click on the Box icon and be redirected to that specific file in your Box account.

Unable to connect to Box with your email account?

If you are already logged in with your Box account (abc@outlook.com) in Box, your Box integration will be with the same outlook account (abc@outlook.com) in needl.ai.
If you want to connect your Box with another email account (for example - abc@gmail.com) you will first have to log out of your outlook account (abc@outlook.com) from your browser.
