Feed Summarization Assistant
The Feed Summarization Assistant provides concise summaries of key information from the feeds you follow, such as news articles, reports, and updates. You can customize these summaries using a predefined template to quickly grasp main points and stay informed efficiently. This feature helps streamline your information flow, saving time and improving focus.
How to Use Feed Summarization Assistant: Step-by-Step Guide
Creating Your Assistant

Navigate to the Assistants Dashboard: Open the left navigation bar and click on "Assistants."
•
Select Your Assistant Type: Select the assistant type "Feed Summarization" from the Assistant.
•
For the “Feed Summarization” assistant: In the Input section, you can choose one or more feeds to be summarized.
Note: In case you have not created an assistant, click on ‘Create New Portfolio’ from the dropdown and add a list of companies that you want to track.
Input
•
Track Events: Monitor specific events, such as Key Insights in Brief, sourced from the Website section of your feed, with feed summarization available exclusively for websites.
Output
•
In the "Output" section, you can select Email or Azure Blob as the output source to receive updates from your assistant.
•
For Email: You can share feed summaries with specific people from your team or organization using a distribution list. Click on ‘Configure your email delivery settings’ to add your Emails or Distribution lists.
•
Select or search the specific emails or distribution lists to which the feed summary should be delivered.
•
Choose your frequency and the time you want to receive the feed summary.
•
You can schedule feed summaries multiple times a day by checking the “Do you want to add more time slots?” box and adding time slots that suit your schedule.
•
You can choose whether to receive an email on days with no news for your feed summary. Keep the box checked to receive emails on “No News” days, or uncheck it to disable them.
Note: Feed summary assistant is restricted to only emails.

Give your assistant a desired name for easy identification.
•
Click "Create Assistant" to activate your new information powerhouse.
Managing Your Assistant
•
Your newly created assistant will be displayed in the "Assistants" section of the dashboard.
•
You can change the status of the assistant by toggling the switch to pause or activate it.
•
Use the pencil icon to edit an assistant. You will be redirected to the Assistant Builder, where you can follow the same steps as when you initially created the assistant and make necessary changes.
•
Use the delete icon to permanently remove an assistant.
What should I do to receive alerts from all relevant updates?
You can enable the "Select all and Auto add future events" checkboxes to receive updates on all relevant events, including future additions.
Can I temporarily stop receiving updates from an assistant?
Yes, you can temporarily change the status of the assistant by toggling the switch to pause or activate it.
Are there any specific templates I can track with the Feed Summarization Assistant?

If I select multiple feeds in the same assistant, will I receive combined emails?
No, each feed’s summary will be delivered separately, ensuring clear and organized information.
