Needl.ai's Outlook integration allows you to sync all your files seamlessly into the platform. Follow these steps to get started:

How to connect Outlook: Step-by-Step Guide

Link your Outlook

Click on the ‘+’ icon next to Connected Sources in the left-side navigation of the app to open the Connected Apps page. In the ‘Apps’ section, you can view the Outlook app.

Click on the ‘Connect’ button for Outlook.

•

A pop-up will appear. Ensure you read and agree to the ‘Terms of Service’ and ‘Privacy Policy’. Then click on ‘Get Started’.

Click on get started after reading terms.

You will get the authentication like this.

Once authentication is complete, you'll receive a success message. Your Outlook data will begin syncing into Needl.ai within 48 hours.

Once the authentication is done. You will see success message.

Modify your integration

•

Go to the Connected Apps section. Click on the ‘Options’ button for Outlook

•

You can either add a new account or delink the current integration.

How long does it take to stream data into Needl.ai?

To stream outlook data into Needl.ai, it usually takes around 45 mins to 1 hour.

Will I be able to import my previous files into Needl.ai?

Yes, all files in your linked Outlook account will get synced into Needl.ai.

What happens if I delete files on Outlook that have already been streamed to Needl.ai?

Needl.ai only offers a one-way data stream. This means that data streamed into Needl.ai from another app or source will stay independent of the source, i.e., deleting files on Outlook after they have been streamed to Needl.ai will not affect your data on Needl.ai.

Does deleting data from Needl.ai also delete them from Outlook?

No, making changes to your data on Needl.ai will not have any effect on your original data source.

Can I add multiple Outlook accounts?

Yes! Click on ‘Add Account’ at the bottom of the panel.

Can I respond to emails from Needl.ai?

Currently, Needl.ai offers read-and-search functionality only. You can view emails in Needl.ai, but responding must be done through Outlook. A Outlook link is available to take you directly to the email in your Gmail client.

Unable to connect with your Outlook email account?

If you are already logged in with your Gmail account (for example - abc@gmail.com) either in One Note or One Drive, your Outlook integration will be with the same Gmail account (abc@gmail.com) in needl.ai.
