Needl Notes

Needl Notes lets you keep track of your ideas, retain relevant information from articles or private apps by converting them into notes, and collaborate with colleagues

With Needl Notes, you can:

Create multiple Notebooks and add notes to it

Add a note from any card

Add notes to Feeds

Create multiple Notebooks and add notes to it

Go to the Notebooks section present in the left navigation, and click on Add.

•

Create a notebook by giving it a name and clicking on Create.

•

You have now created your first notebook, let’s start adding notes to it now. Click on the New Note button to the top to create a new note.

•

Start writing your note. Once done, just click on the back icon. Everything is auto-saved!

Add a note from any card

Convert any information Card from your connected private channels or public sources, into a note

•

Go to any of your Feeds and click on Notes button on any of the Cards.

•

Select the notebook you want this card to be added to, or create a new default notebook for the Feed, and click on Done.

•

You should now be able to see the card in your notebook

Add notes to Feeds

Create a completely new Feed of your notes, or add Needl notes as a source in any existing Feed

•

Click on the Edit icon on any Feeds.

•

Go to to Notes from the left navigation, click on Needl notes and the select Notebook(s) you want to add to the Feed.

•

You can also create a completely new Feed of your Notes by creating a new Feed and selecting the Notebook(s) you’d like to add as Source.

How long does it take to crawl notes into feeds?

Crawling your notes into feeds can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours

Does deleting Notes from feeds also delete them from Notebooks?

Yes, making changes to your notes from any feed will affect your original note‣

Is it possible to add a card to multiple notebooks?

Yes, you can add a card in as many notebooks as you want

Is it possible to add a card more than once in a notebook?

Yes, you can add a card to the same notebook more than once

Can I select specific notebooks to create a feed?

Yes, we only include the notebooks that were chosen during feed creation. We automatically add all the notebooks to the feed if no specific notebooks are chosen

Can I tag or bookmark my notes from the "My Notebooks" section?

No, Currently, only feeds allow bookmarking and note tagging. You can bookmark or tag the notes you want by going to the "Notes" section in the feed
